VPN on Ubuntu 11.04

Most tutorials online gives the directions to install “network-manager-openconnect” and “openconnect” via the package manager, and then go ahead and configure VPN connections from the network-manager.

BUT, 11.04 is no longer supported and running “sudo apt-get update” gives all kinds of headaches about repository not found. I hate finding random addresses. The most direct way is to go directly for the debian packages.

The latest ones won’t work, as 11.04 is pre-unity, all the “openconnect” and “network-manager-openconnect” packages have to be before the 12.04 release as well.

And then things work as detailed in all those unhelpful tutorials.
